Midwest Antique & Art Show

Est. Cedar Rapids, Iowa

About the Show

A celebration of American antiques, folk art, and the dealers who preserve them.

Background

Our Story

The Midwest Antique & Art Show was founded with a singular purpose: to bring together the finest antique dealers from across the country and connect them with collectors who share a deep appreciation for the objects of the past.

Held annually at Hawkeye Downs in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the show has grown into one of the region's most anticipated antique events — a gathering place for serious collectors, casual enthusiasts, and dealers who take pride in the quality and provenance of what they offer.  Many of the dealers from the former "Collector's Eye Show" have joined the Midwest dealers to continue the 39-year tradition that shoppers have grown to love. Now produced by MattPro Show Management, the Midwest show enters a new chapter.  MattPro - owned by Jill and Mark Mattingly - also organize the Country Spirit and Pure Country shows in Illinois as well as the venerable Fiddlers Antiques Show at the Nashville Fairgrounds in Tennessee.

Our Purpose

What We Stand For

We believe antiques are more than objects — they are stories, craftsmanship, and history made tangible. Our mission is to create a show where quality is the standard and every piece on the floor has earned its place.  What will you find to make your space uniquely yours?

Quality Over Quantity

Every exhibitor is carefully selected. We prioritize dealers who bring exceptional, well-researched pieces with a commitment to honest representation.

A Curated Experience

From folk art and furniture to jewelry and fine art, the show spans a wide range of categories — all united by a standard of quality that collectors can trust.

Community & Tradition

The show is a reunion as much as a marketplace. Dealers and collectors return year after year, building relationships that extend well beyond the show floor.

The Event

The Show

The Midwest Antique & Art Show takes place twice each year  (April and October) at Hawkeye Downs Fairgrounds in Cedar Rapids, Iowa — a venue that gives exhibitors room to display their collections with care and gives visitors room to browse.

With over 50 exhibitors representing more than a dozen states, the show draws dealers who specialize in everything from 18th-century American furniture to mid-century modern design, vintage textiles, outsider art, and regional folk pieces.

Join Us This October

Whether you are a lifelong collector, a first-time visitor, or a dealer looking to connect with a discerning audience, the Midwest Antique & Art Show welcomes you. We look forward to seeing you enjoy the fresh new take on Midwest and a brand new design for the combined show floor.
